¡Hola, queridos estudiantes! A continuación les comparto el programa de la materia y los criterios de evaluación.
CONTENIDOS
Unidad 1: “Happy holidays”
- Vocabulary:
- Holiday equipment: flip-flops, guidebook, insect repellent, raincoat, suitcase, suncream, swimsuit, swim shorts, tent, umbrella.
- Ways of celebrating a public holiday: watch a fireworks display, wear a costume, watch a parade, send a card, wish each other a happy holiday, have the day off, give presents, remember the dead.
- Grammar: Present continuous for future (all forms). Review: past simple, there was / there were, present simple, present continuous. I hope / I think / I don’t think.
Unidad 2: “Forces of nature”
- Vocabulary:
- Weather and natural disasters: drought, earthquake, flood, forest fire, lighting, mudslide, rain, snow, thunder, wind.
- Emergency actions: stay inside, close the windows, take shelter, watch the weather report, buy supplies, evacuate.
- Grammar: Zero conditional. First conditional. Unless. Imperatives for giving instructions.
- Giving instructions in an emergency.
Unidad 3: “What have you done?”
- Vocabulary:
- Exciting experiences: be on TV, climb a mountain, do a bungee jump, fly in a helicopter, go scuba diving, hold an exotic animal, meet a famous person, ride a quad bike, sleep in a tent, visit a famous place, win a competition.
- Jobs and occupations.
- Grammar: Present perfect. Past participles. Been / gone. Ever / never. Present perfect vs. past simple.
- Talking about past experiences and events.

- Body language: dos and don’ts
- Identification card
- Formal language and less formal language
CRITERIOS DE EVALUACIÓN
- La duración del examen es 80 minutos, se corrige en el momento.
- La evaluación es escrita, se aprueba con 6 (seis) puntos o más.
- Si la nota obtenida es 5 (cinco), se pasará a una instancia oral para que el alumno pueda defender su escrito y dar cuenta de los contenidos mínimos de la materia.
- Si la nota obtenida es 1 (uno), 2 (dos), 3 (tres) o 4 (cuatro), el alumno deberá rendir la materia en las mesas siguientes.
